This reproduction ABS molded plastic chrome ram air hood bezel kit replaces your broken, pitted, damaged, or missing originals.  

Trying to find a decent OEM Ram Air Bezel set is almost impossible. Most of the aftermarket trims are very expensive and either have issues with fitment that easily break during removal or installation. This is the issue our trims aim to solve by making a better-fitting piece at a better price.

Our 1970 AMC AMX & Javelin Ram Air hood bezels are made from high-strength ABS plastic that allows the pieces to flex enough to easily be removed and installed many times without damaging or breaking. The mounting pins are made from metal inlays for added strength. The Ram Air hood bezels then go through a series of electroplating that applies a thick layer of metallic chrome. The inner section is painted black.

• NOTE:  Your aftermarket pinhole alignment may differ from the original and may need to be modified to fit correctly.  
  
• There are some differences between the OEM Ram Air Bezel Trims and our replacements.  1) The originals were made from metal; ours are made from ABS plastic and chrome plated.  2) Ours are 3mm wider and 1mm taller than the OEM pieces. The extra width is designed to cover the entire opening of the Ram Air hood section.  3) The inner sections are painted black. The black interior section is required for the plastic injection and chroming process. See pictures for references and comparisons.
